Welcome to Madeline's page! Madeline is a gifted artist, a nurse, a loving mother and my friend.
Even though she left the physical world in December of 2001, she is still quite the busy girl!
I hope to post more of her work here in the near future. I have recently come across
more of Madeline's writings.... Truly treasures! Here is a very small sampling:
The following words were written by Madeline Smith In 1987.
The first poem captures her playful spirit.
The second one could have been written today.
I hope you enjoy them.

I’ll let down my hair
And wear my sash of blue
With my long white dress
When I walk past you
You will see me and smile
You always do
... Do you ever talk?

You believe things will always be the same
When you go away and come back again
Breathe deep of life
Look around you
You may never see this again
The waters grow deep
The landing where you stand will soon be swept away
Say goodbye quickly and move on to another shore
I’ll be there to guide you
Don’t look back
This is no more
